I wanted to send a big thank you and update to everyone who contributed to our fundraiser over the last month or so. To the individuals who donated, to the businesses who came on as sponsors, to those who shared our posts, and to those who attended our events — it can’t be said enough the appreciation my team and I have for the all the enthusiasm and support. It’s super encouraging to see this kind of reaction. Especially when this was the first time we publicly announced our documentary or released any glimpses into the project. So after 3 years of our small independent team working so hard to capture this story, it’s exciting to announce that we reached our post-production goal!
With your help, we were able to raise just over $42,000 for this documentary project!
This support will insure the completion of the full length edit, licensing and scanning archival footage, and everything that goes into post production and finishing. So again, on behalf of the entire documentary team and participants, thank you. We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated as we continue to make progress on the film.
